Color Blind

Few days ago, I bought my mum and my cousin brother to Vista Eye Specialist at The Curve for some eye checking thingy and at the same time, I wanted to ask about the Eye Lasik thingy. My eye power is super super high, so I really wants to get a eye laser treatment so that I can get rid of my super thick glasses! So, the consultant told me that the higher your power is, the more expensive it will cost. And for mine, is around RM 10K.... Oh god!

After all the asking and checking thingy, is time for us to go back. And suddenly, color blind thingy just appear at my mind. Have you guys ever think about it? Why is the traffic light is in color instead of shape? The only reason why color blind people can't drive is because they can't see the traffic light. What if we change the red light to a big " X ", green light to a " O " and yellow light to some other shapes? With all these changes, maybe the color blind can drive like normally people, otherwise they will have to go to special classes or get some special glasses, which I think is kinda troublesome >''<

Okay, I'm saving money now to get my eye Lasik done!

Happy Anniversary at Kai Zen Japanese Restaurant!

Yesterday (August 31st) was the date where my parent meet each other! It had been 29 years already! To celebrate this, daddy bought all of us (without my sister >"<) to this Japanese Restaurant =)

Kai Zen Japanese Restaurant

Sashimi set, my parent's favorite! I don't know why they only give one shrimp, the shrimp is the best part, is already cooked, but it is so fresh and at the same time, you can taste a little bit sweetness in it, super nice!

I'm not really into all these raw food, but apparently my dad and mum loves this! It were really fresh, as they're still alive before served! With the lemon and tabasco sauce, it is perfect!!!

Udon noodles soup!

I can't remember it's name, but inside is soft shell crab! For this, I prefer the one at Sushi Zanmai >''<

This is the one my brother ordered! Unagi and Tempura set, I'm not sure with the Unagi, but the Tempura was one of the best I ever tried!

Soft Shell Crab, my favorite at all time!

Chicken skin! Taste a little bit like pig skin, very very crispy!

This is the one I ordered. Cold ramen with sesame sauce! Very nice, but still, I prefer the one from Pasta Zanmai XD But the portion is really big with a reasonable price! Only RM15 =)

Woohooo! I'm in Rome, Italy!!!!

My very first day here! After 9 hours flight from Charlotte to Rome, I'm super tired and dirty >''< Just wanna take a nap and a shower! Wow, there are 3 mercedes who came and pick us up and bring us to Madison Hotel. It wasn't a really grand hotel, but at least it was clean and simple. But it was kinda small though >"<

Hmm, what is my very first impression about Rome? I don't know how to describe, but it is kinda old, it is like a historical area, it actually is, it is very different from New York and Kuala Lumpur! But IT IS VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!! No doubt at all!

Time for my very first lunch in ROME and EUROPE!!! We walked around our hotel, looking for ''good'' restaurant. In the end, we decided to stop by a restaurant which is kinda special. This restaurant is very special because it is located at the basement! You will have to walk down few steps! DO NOT EVER COME BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT! One of the waiter scold us STUPID ENGLISH PEOPLE >"<  Even if I'm not English people, I'm Asian, but it is not right to say these words to anyone!

My very first Espresso in my life!!!

Thank God, Dr. Kwong gave us some time, so that we can take a nap, a shower or whatever! After a quick shower, Danny, Kristen, Katie and I decided to walk around our hotel. It is super duper hot, almost like Malaysia! We walk into a McDonald's and take a look, no different actually...

After a long long long walk, is finally time to meet with the others! Which means, is time for the Colosseum!!!!!!

Me, Kate, Stephanie and Emily :)

Wow, super huge!

Haha, I don't know who she is, but I think she is a singer or model, shooting her MV or photo shoot... So ngam! A lot of people over there at that time!

Arch of Constantine!

And then DINNER!!!! Guess what, I ordered Lobster Pasta! Woots Woots!!!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!

My very first roommates experiences in my life =)

I don't really have roommates in my life except for my sister, so I'm kinda nervous when I know that I'm gonna stay with another girl for almost a year >''< So, I received an email from Natalie Best and she told me that I'm gonna stay with a China girl, Shan Shan (Oh god, I forget her last name XD), and that time I was like, okay, not that bad, at least we can both speak the same language. But, oh god, she is super quiet! I feel so awkward every time I see her >''< For some reason, she wanna hide her own age, and I don't know why! For me, age is not a problem, as long as we can stay together happily, without any big argument, then is okay, but I think maybe she feels like staying with a girl like me is kinda hard for her >< Oh well, since she wanna hide her age, so I was like, okay, then I wanna know what is ur age!!!! hahaha, then Diana, one of our international officer accidentally told me when is her birth year!!!! 1976!!! No wonder, she kinda quiet even we are housemates. ( we're not roommates, both of us stay in different room, THANK GOD!!!)

When I think I'm gonna stay with this quiet freak for a year, thank god, something happened! One day, it was raining all day, and I think, well, maybe it is just normal raining day. But this time it is different! My apartment's basement is full of water, and no more electricity! So, Shan Shan and I were moved to Living Learning Centre. And then, I have new roommate and 2 suite-mate now!!!

Kathy Retamal!!! She is from Chile, and she is my very first roommate in my life!!!!! She is super duper sweet, OMG, I miss her so much!!!! No one can ever believe what she did to me on my first night in LLC. When I sleep, she came and check if I had my blanket on, and I didn't, so she put on my blanket for me! I don't know how to describe my feelings, but I just wanna says that it is not easy to go somewhere and stay there without someone you really know. So when she did that to me, I feels like my mum was there. Not to say that she is old, but she is super caring to me, I feels so uneasy that night due to all the craziness, moving to a new apartment and having an exam on the next day, but she totally calm me down and I had a really good night! Thank you so much Kathy! You're such a good friend, I'm saving money now, will definitely visit you one day! DON'T YOU DARE FORGET ME! I promise I won't. Kiss Kiss <3 <3

Rosalie Linda Whitington!!! She is not my roommate, but my suite-mate! She is from Australia! She is super duper cute too!!! And I love her accent so much!!!! hahaha, what I remember about her is the waxing part. haha, for some reason, I got not hair on my hand and my legs at all! So I don't really know how waxing works. She is the one who shows me how all the wax thingy works. hahaha, I still remember, when she pull off the wax, her expression tell us that it is so damn F***king painful! hahaha, besides that, she can cook, so goooooood!!! I still remember, after International Masquerade Ball, all of us are super duper hungry, I think there are 15-20 of us, and it is already 2 or 3am, I can't really remember, but she still prepare food for us, sandwich and pasta!!! So delicious! Even though I'm not really close like we see each other or talked to each other every day (because she is super hardworking, she stay at the library almost all the time), but when is time to leave, she gave me a card, a super sweet card. At that time, I really regret that I didn't spend much time with her, but still, I had the best memories with her!!!

Vivian Chao Ya Wei!!! She is from Taiwan, super sweet girl! OMGoodness, I don't know what to says to describe her!!! She is super sweet and caring. She is the one who help me the most when I'm having a lot of problem. Even though I don't really know her yet, but she offer me her hands and help me move from my old apartment to LLC. At that time, I know that one day, both of us will be best friends! She is super caring, I'm only 19 years old when I know her, and I still have a lot of things to learn, and sometime, all the things that happened around me are just too much for me to handled. But she is there, she is more than willing to help me out! Even if I still skype with my parents quite often, but there is different between talking to someone in the computer and in real person. She is very special, for me, she has a "sister + mother" feels, and these comfort me a lot when I'm having some emotional issue! I still remember, there is one time I was really sick, really really sick, she bring me some porridge and medicine for me, and kinda take good care of me! I got so many memories with her, we go to Washington D.C. and Chicago together, both of us experience a crazy bus trip to Michigan, and a lot more which others can't really understand. I just wanna says that I was so blessed for having her as a suite-mate, as a friend and as a sister. I love you! Promise me you will take good care yourself and your family! What I really want is you be yourself and be happy!

Our suite is kinda special because normally when they arrange roommates, they will try to pair an international student with an American student, but in our suite, all of us are from different countries!!!! But this is what makes us special!

Because Kathy and Rosie are just here for one semester (they're exchange student), so I have a new roommate and a suite-mate now! I don't really have a new suite-mate, because she moved out few weeks after she moved in. (I don't even remember her name XD)

My roommate is Jenny Lee van Dowski! She is from Germany! OMG, I love her so much, especially her laughter! She is always there when I need someone to talk to, no matter how late it is, she will fully listen to you, and give you a really good advice. Oh ya, she can sing too! Especially the song "Bad Romance" from Lady Gaga! Haha, besides that, she can really really eat, every time when I cook, she will definitely try and always says GOOD, even if I think the food was bad! I feel so happy when she really like my food, feels like I'm a great chef! She is so sweet and caring, she really helps me a lot with my papers! (her grammar super duper good). Oh, before I go for my Europe trip, she teach me French, I appreciate it a lot (even if I don't remember any of it now XD) I'm trying my best saving money now! So wait for me ya!
